3D Conversions are reconstructions of a patient's maxillofacial anatomy from a DICOM file created from a CT or conebeam CT scan. 3D Diagnostix conversions take the dozens of slices created in the scanning process and assembles them into a 3D image, removing any scatter and highlighting key anatomy. Key anatomy includes the aveolar nerve channel for mandibles and sinus area for maxilla cases. Teeth and area of intended intervention are also highlighted.
